Revvis is open and transparent about how we use your personal information. Whilst Revvis uses your personal information to ensure your dream home really comes to life, our business is you - not your data. We’ve detailed below how and why we use your personal information, and some further important details if you need them. Thank you for using Revvis!

Dealing with your enquiries

When you make any enquiry with us, including by email, using our on-line contact form, or by ‘phone, we only use your personal information to deal with your enquiry. We only need your name and email address, but if you provide your ‘phone number we may use it to contact you in respect of your enquiry.

Virtualisation service

We only use your personal information when legally we can do so.

Your account

If you want to open a Revvis account, we ask for the essential information needed to manage your account and provide our services. This information, and any other personal information provided in connection with your use of our services, will only be used:

  • to support and manage your use of our services;
  • deliver our services to you;
  • manage our legal obligations; and
  • for other purposes compatible with these uses.

Personalisation

You have the option to provide us with additional information when you open your account, including your gender, date of birth, household income bracket, and size of household. If you do provide it, we will retain and only use it to:

  • give you a continuously updated personalised selection of virtual products to use with your virtualisations; and
  • better understand the profiles of our users (but only once the information has been anonymised).

Subscribing to our newsletter

If you subscribe for our newsletter, we will use your email address to send you the newsletter and other information relating to Revvis’ products.

Payment

We seek payment by electronic fund transfer against our invoices and do not capture or receive your payment or bank account details.

Virtualisation

We don’t need you to give us additional personal information as part of the virtualisation process, and we encourage you to ensure personal information is not included in the materials you provide. However, if they do include personal information (for example, images or names), we will use it only as an incidental part of the virtualisation process. When you use our web-based virtualisation software we log your activity to help us support and manage your use of our services.

Property address

The address or location of the property is used:

  • to ensure the virtualisation is simulated to the property location; and
  • to provide you with information through our web viewer of product and service providers close to the property address.

Real-time chat facility

If you use our real-time chat facility, any personal information included in the chat will be used only for dealing with your enquiry or providing our service to you

Legal basis for using your personal information

We only use your personal information when legally we can do so.

It is in our legitimate interest to deal with your enquiries.

Registration and payment

The information we require you to provide is necessary so we can enter into our contract with you, manage our respective obligations under it, and provide our services to you. If you provide personal information as a representative of a corporate account holder, the personal information is used in our legitimate interest to provide our services to the account holder.

Personalisation and newsletter subscription

We only use the optional information you have provided with your consent. You provide a separate consent for your subscription to the newsletter

You can withdraw either consent at any time. Simply visit the “My Account” page and change your settings.

Virtualisations, property address, and real-time chat

Our processing of personal data in each of these cases is undertaken in our legitimate interests.

Keeping your information

We only keep your personal information for as long as is necessary.

Enquiries

Any personal information you provide is kept for up to 24 months after our last communication with you so we can refer to the information if you contact us again during that time.

Virtualisation service

Your personal information will be kept for a period of up to seven years after the date you close your account. We keep it for this period so we can meet our legal obligations, and deal with any complaints you may have in that period. If the personal information we have does not need to be kept for these purposes, then we will delete it once you have deleted your account.

Sharing your personal information

We do not share your personal information with anyone else, except as detailed below. We may anonymise your personal information and use it for statistical and other purposes, but your privacy will not be compromised.

Your personal information is provided to third parties who provide services to us, such as:

  • information technology and information services providers; and
  • professional advisers and insurers.

These third parties can only use the personal information we share to provide their services to us. Your personal information is not transferred outside the European Union.

Your rights

Right to withdraw your consent

You can withdraw your consent to processing your personal information at any time. Visit the “My Account” page and change your settings.

Accessing, deleting and rectifying your personal information

You can access your personal information at any time, including by using the download facility which you can find on the “My Account” page under “DOWNLOAD YOUR DETAILS”;

You can ask us to delete any personal information we are not required to keep, or rectify any personal information we hold that is incorrect. The “My Account” page provides further information on how this can be done.

Objecting to processing

Where we process your personal information for purposes we consider to be in our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to this processing. You may exercise this right by writing by emailing privacy@revvis.com. If you do object, this may affect our ability to provide our services to you.

Lodging a complaint
